The fantabulous Nathan Fréchette from Renaissance and I collaborated once again, and I’m so happy with the result. The greyscale version of the cover is already out in print as a promo at the back of MJ Lyons’ Murder at the World’s Fair, so, as Xax would say: What the hay?
I figured I might as well share the cover design.

I love the backdrop image as well. It was created by Lucas Ettore Chiereguini from Pexels.
Just like with Life in the ’Cosm, I kind of love the blend of graphic art and photography and having my characters set into the scene. I’m quirky that way. And like with my first book, I drew sketches of the characters to send to Nathan, and he gave them that finishing touch. (In this case, he also added boots, because I had no room to draw the boots on the sketch I did. (LOL, YAY FOR BOOTS!) We also shared a giggle about the space fighter at the top right of the cover. Nat told me he doesn’t really draw ships, but because he is no quitter, he did the thing! I was like, “WOOHOO, YOU DREW A SHIP!”
There’s always a wonderful combination of anxiety (me) and hilarity (Nat and me) when doing these book covers. And once again, he is the King of Font Choices. I love it! (The quirky author font is there to show the relationship to the rest of the ’Cosm Series.)
Now, The Stealth Lovers is still to go through its final edit, but I reckon plans are all good for its Fall 2019 release! I am super stoked about this novel and hope readers love it!
I will keep you posted about release dates of The Stealth Lovers and the second edition of Life in the ’Cosm. This is turning out to be an exciting year!
