Flash Fiction Challenge: April Results

So much changed since our last challenge. Most of us are staying at home because of the COVID-19 pandemic. I thought I’d try “lighting the lighthouse” last week and to my delight, people still wrote flash fiction this month!

Last week, I drew pretty decent cards: 2 of spades, Jack of hearts, and the 8 of diamonds. That meant the genre was steampunk, the setting was an apothecary, and the object that must appear in the story was a spider!

2 of spades (Steampunk), Jack of hearts (Apothecary) and 8 of diamonds (Spider)

And here are the stories from our authors. Thanks for playing and not making me feel I’m not alone!

The next draw is on May 4, 2020!

Hope you can join us!

Cheers!
