Flash Fiction Challenge 2020: May

It might seem odd that I am continuing this fun and non-competitive flash fiction game during a global pandemic, but I strongly feel that taking time out to be creative is really good for my mental health. But if you’re not up to it this month, that’s absolutely okay, too. I just wanted to do the draw for those who need a distraction during this trying time!

Wow, were you ever a bunch of ’punks in April—steampunks, that is! (Read April’s stories here.) Now it’s time for our fifth flash fiction draw!

Here’s the video of me choosing the cards for May’s challenge! I’m dying to read what you come up with!

Closed captions are available for this video.

You have until Monday May 11( 2-3 p.m. EDT) to submit your stories. Please add a link to your stories in the comments section of this post. And if you’re done sooner, you can comment sooner!

I’ll write a summary post later that day and highlight the stories that have come in.

Happy wording!

Cheers!
