Flash Fiction Challenge: June Results

Sorry this post is so late. I’m currently on a type of hiatus, for physical and mental health reasons. And I didn’t write a story this month because I was heavily involved in an online writers con, then my brain and body went *poof*.

Thankfully, we have authors who did write flash fiction for June. Thanks, you lovelies!

On June 1, I drew these cards: 7 of spades, queen of hearts, and the king of diamonds. That meant the genre was historical fiction, the setting was a parliament or the white house, and the object that must appear in the story was a pill bottle!

ID: Card draw—7 of spades (historical fiction), Queen of hearts (Parliament/White House gathering), and King of diamonds (pill bottle).

And here are the stories from our authors. Thanks so much for playing!

The next draw is on July 6, 2020!

Hope you can join us! I hope to write again for next month, too!

Cheers!

She’s also the author of Life in the ’Cosm and The Stealth Lovers. When Cait’s not writing, she’s editing manuscripts and running The Spoonie Authors Network, a blog whose contributors manage disabilities and/or chronic conditions. She also teamed up with Kohenet Talia C. Johnson to co-edit the Nothing Without Us anthology (now a 2020 Prix Aurora Award nominee) in an attempt to take over the world.
